Stardust Purity

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. Isola has been with her grandma's down in Florida, so I haven't been able to take any pictures of her.
But here is a "Nutcracker" themed Photoshoot I did of her this past Christmas when we were in FL with the family.

The Nutcracker Suite - ACT I
 

Isola went with me on vacation down to Florida. Grandma wanted her to stay so she could spend more time with her, so I let her. I'm sure she's being spoiled!

Now that I have my own camera, I have finally been able to do a photoshoot with my beautiful Isola.
Here she is...

Thanks to my lovely friend, Jaime, my dearest little Isola's eye has been fixed ^_^

And yes, I have named her Isola Rose. Isola was the name of fameous author, Oscar Wilde's little sister who had blond hair and blue eyes. She died when she was young and became Oscar's muse in many ways. I always thought it was a beautiful (and quite unique) name. It's also my way of giving a little nod to one of my favorite authors. Much like Mr. Wilde's Isola was forever froozen in time as a beautiful little girl in his memory, so shall my Isola remain to me. 

As soon as I can get my hands on a camera, I'll post pics ^.^

My poor little girl is missing an eye!
Her left eye must have come loose during the shipping and is now rummbling around in her head.
Poor thing.

I emailed Luts and explained the situation. I'm hoping that either they can fix her, or they can reimburse me for taking her to a doll hospital maybe.

She is beautiful though! And they gave her blue eyes too! ^_^
I haven't named her yet. I'm going to wait until she's all fixed up.

John thought I should put a bandage over her eye, just like in all the animes. LOL

I felt bad not being able to take off her wrappings and getting her out of the box and give her a name.
I don't want her to feel rejected or anything! I know it sounds silly, but I've always felt that dolls and stuffies have feelings somehow. I totally freak out whenever John sits on my Bunny! Maybe it's because of watching Unico and the Magic Island so much when I was younger ^_^
I did pick her up and try the wig on her though. Looks good on her.

I can't wait until she gets all fixed up! ^.^

My fiancee, John, called to let me know that the package he picked up from the Post Office is from "Luts in Korea"!!!

SQUEE!!!!!! That's right - she's here! When I go home I get to see my beautiful little girl and give her a name and everything.
OMG, I'm so excited ^_^
I can't wait to see her!

Wow ...I wasn't expecting her to arrive so quickly

Thinking of possible names for my dear little dollfie...

For a combined Christmas/Birthday gift, my mother allowed me to pick any dollfie I wanted to get.

This journal is my "doll journal" devoted to LJ posts about my dollfie(s).

I'll mostly be using this account to post pics of my dollfie, costumes I'm making (or bought) for my dollfie, and anything else related to dollfies and doll collecting in general.
